Summary: first-grade student at Denmark Elementary School in Jackson, Tennessee who was among at least 39 people reported missing and feared dead in a deadly weeklong series of tornadoes and severe storms that swept across the central and eastern United States, which were part of a large developing storm system in the country's Midwest region, spawning an estimated 395 twisters recorded nationwide from May 4 through May 10, 2003 as they left a swath of mass destruction a quarter-mile wide in some places, in which the funnel of one tornado was reported to be 500 yards at its widest.
